Business Card Trends

If you are about to send a business card printing project to the presses, there a couple of trends of which you should be aware. Don’t give your competitors the opportunity to hand your customers a more interesting and engaging business card. Since most people don’t keep up with trends, this article will get you up to speed on new ways to make your business card stand out.
Full color
Digital printing has made it easy, fast, and inexpensive for full color business card printing. By full color, we mean literally that you can print pictures and brilliant graphics for the same price that black and white used to cost. Make sure to work with a printing firm that has experience with business card printing to ensure you get a professional looking product.
Both sides
More businesses are using both sides of the business card. The front of the business card is still reserved for basic contact information and your company logo. Use the back for extra information, such as detailed product specifications, a coupon, or other relevant industry information. This makes your business card all the more valuable to your customers.
Vertical view
Another common trend is to rotate the business card 90°. You can then put your logo or other graphics at the top of the business card and your contact information along the bottom. This makes for an interesting business card since not too many people use this layout.
Rounded edges
Some businesses have been using rounded edged business cards, which is a very inexpensive way to make yours look interesting. This is referred to as a die cut, so make sure your favorite printing firm can handle this.
Folds
One of the most recent trends is the folded business card. These business cards fold to the standard size, but have extra space where additional information and unique design elements can be added. These business cards really stand out since this format is fairly new.
